All YogaKids classes are comprehensive, imaginative and playful. They flow beautifully between activity and passivity, social interaction and introspection.

Using 14 YogaKids elements created by Marsha Wenig, the program teaches a complete form of exercise as well as encourages the inclusion of language and creative arts, reading, writing, science, music, ecology and health.

Toddlers Classes are designed for childern between the ages of 2 and 4 years old. The exercises are short, and move from one activity to another. There’s a good combination of asanas, stories, playtime, toddler time and relaxation.

YogaKids Classes combine cooperative games, theme activities; storytelling, music and art engage the natural energy and enthusiasm of the child. Classes explore yoga poses, breathing exercises, visual imagery and relaxation techniques while conveying lessons in self expression, body image, social skills, positive thinking and environmental awareness.

Tween Yoga Classes is where expanding minds and maturing bodies come together through independent and group activities that stimulate pre-teens physical strength, emotional balance and self confidence. Classes integrate traditional yoga poses, flowing sequences, partner poses, breathing exercises, deep-relaxation and meditation techniques as well as self reflection. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the physical and philosophical aspects of yoga.

YogaKids Summer Program blends traditional yoga and it's benefits with new theories of multiple learning styles in a comprehensive, imaginative and playful approach to learning. Each session will have a different theme. We will flow from the yoga and movement into reading, writing, art, music, games and relaxation. Part of the class will be held outdoors weather permitting. There will be 2 breaks, snacks and water will be provided. YogaKids is designed to reinforce a child's belief in their innate ability to learn, improve and succeed. Tweens Summer Yoga Workshop will be a creative exploration on the Chakras (July 8th), Yamas and Niyamas (July 22nd) and Girl to Goddess (Aug 26th). The Chakra workshop objective is to explore that the chakra energy flows inside of the body through postures. To be aware of the connection between the physical body and energy body. Learning about positive affirmation. The Yamas and Niyamas workshop objective is to touch on the foundation of yoga, the yamas and niyamas. They are the roots from which the tree of yoga and our lives can grow in a happy, healthy and purposeful way. The Girl to Goddess workshop objective is to share what yoga can do for your life. It is focused on the transition from girl to women and the special pressures and challenges that come with it. This workshop will focus on becoming a spiritual warrior, learning to breathe, feeling good about yourself, dealing with peer pressure, relaxing for test/school and getting good nutrition and sleep.
