Gillian Sadinsky has been practicing yoga for years, in Kingston, Toronto, Sydney and in Washington where she has been fortunate to study with Richard Schachtel at the Iyengar-based Centre for Yoga of Seattle. She earned her teaching certification with a year-long course that qualifies for the 200-hour International Yoga Alliance registration. The course, a wonderful experience, was offered by Dawn Wallace and Jane Forrington-Burke, director of the Yoga & Relaxation Centre in Kingston . Her most important yoga influence has been Perri Van Rossem with whom she has practiced for a decade. Gillian hopes that students in her classes feel comfortable and safe to explore the possibilities of each pose and that their practice leads them to live each moment more fully, both on and off the mat.
